On Friday 15 September, Iain Stewart MP visited the new platforms at Bletchley Train Station for the East West Rail.
Iain met with the Chief Executive Officer of East West Rail, Beth West, to get an update on the progress of work connecting Bletchley to both Oxford and Cambridge.
During his visit, Iain had the opportunity to explore the new high-line platform at Bletchley train station which will connect to the existing platforms, allowing passengers to utilise all services that pass through.
Iain was pleased to learn that rolling stock has been identified for East West Rail and looks forward to seeing the trains operating on the line in the coming years.
