On Friday 23 February, Iain Stewart MP met with the CEO of The Parks Trust, Victoria Miles MBE.
It was an opportunity for Iain to hear about the latest work, projects and developments the Parks Trust have undertaken across Milton Keynes since his last meeting.
In particular, Iain welcomed the accessibility work to make the green spaces, parks and locations under the care of The Parks Trust open to all to enjoy and make use of.
At the moment, a trial is being undertaken at Furzton Lake to see if the accessibility work increases usage and makes the location more enjoyable and accessible.
Also, during the meeting, Victoria raised an issue in Magna Park with lorry drivers using a Parks Trust location as a toilet due to a lack of facilities nearby.
Iain has contacted Milton Keynes City Council, businesses with facilities in Magna Park and the Government Minister to see what support and funding is available to find a solution.
