On Thursday 21 September, Iain Stewart MP visited Santander's new UK Headquarters located in Milton Keynes - Unity Place.
During his visit, Iain met with Stephen White (Chief Operations Officer), Nick Roberts (Head of Property) and Mark Homans (Director of Strategy and Operations) to hear how Santander UK are doing and the role the new headquarters will have in their operation..
Unity Place is a community-focused facility for both employees and members of the public to utilise. From the urban food market on the ground floor to the sky terrace on the top floor, Iain heard how Santander are keen to be a part of the community and a welcoming location.
In particular, Iain welcomed the rooms and venues that are available for hire to community groups, functions and events, something that is often in high demand in Milton Keynes.
Iain was pleased to hear how Santander are bringing employees based in London, Leicester and other nearby locations to Milton Keynes, an excellent show of confidence in the opportunities and prosperity the City has to offer.
