Every year the Member of Parliament for Milton Keynes South, Iain Stewart, hosts a Christmas Card Competition inviting local school pupils to design the artwork of the card he sends to his family and friends.
This year was no different. Iain invited schools across Milton Keynes South to send in their entries with the three themes this year being: Festive Big Ben, Christmas at home and Santa Claus at a favourite Milton Keynes location.
Having received multiple entries, it was a difficult task for the judges to pick one winner.
This year’s winner is Vaishnavi from Abbeys Primary School.
Commenting, Iain Stewart MP said:
“Every year, I enjoy seeing the numerous entries from Milton Keynes schools for my annual Christmas Card Competition.
“I would like to congratulate this year’s winner, Vaishnavi, from Abbeys Primary School on her wonderful festive Big Ben design.
“As well as sending the cards to my family and friends, the Prime Minister was delighted to receive a Christmas Card too.”
The first recipient of Iain’s Christmas Card was the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, who was delighted to receive a Christmas card with a festive Big Ben on the front designed by Vaishnavi.
