Well-loved venues in Milton Keynes South such as Bletchley Park and Wavendon Allmusic Plan Ltd are receiving a share of £1,719,639 from the Culture Recovery Fund.
The Culture Secretary, Oliver Dowden, has announced details of over 2,700 organisations being offered nearly £400 million in grants and loans to help the culture and heritage sector reopen and recover across England.
This brings the Government's total investment across grants, capital and repayable finance from the Culture Recovery Fund so far to more than £1.2 billion across over 5,000 individual cultural and heritage organisations and sites.
Iain Stewart, MP for MK South, commented:
“It is great news that the Government has allocated over £2 million to venues across Milton Keynes through the the Cultural Recovery Fund.
“This money will be a huge boost for all them as they look to bounce back from the pandemic. I look forward to paying them a visit once they open their doors.”
