On Friday 17th September, Iain Stewart MP visited Milton Keynes Special Needs Advancement Project (MK SNAP) which is located in Walnut Tree.
Iain met with the CEO, Angie, and Director of Learning & Quality, Steven on his visit to MK SNAP.
Having recently been awarded The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, Iain welcomed the opportunity to congratulate them on this achievement.
Since Iain's last visit, he was shown around the site to see what had changed and to see what the learners were doing.
With some learners returning in-person, Iain enjoyed seeing familiar faces and talking with them about the projects and work that they were engaged in.
Iain was really pleased to see the Our Changing Places Facility, a new toilet and changing facility allowing MK SNAP learners the opportunity to stay and learn for the full day.
MK SNAP are looking for volunteers to help with the delivery of their service. If this is something of interest to you, you can find out more information and get in contact by going to their website - https://mksnap.org/
