On Friday 16th April, Iain Stewart MP visited the Rainbow Pharmacy-ran vaccination centre at the Open University.
The local MP was guided through the process, including being checked in and seeing the booths in which members of the public received their jab.
Throughout the whole process, Iain Stewart MP saw the COVID-secure measures that had been implemented. This included social distancing, the wearing of masks, and hand sanitizing.
Iain saw first-hand the efficiency and ease of getting a COVID-19 vaccination at one of the many booths being operated.
It was brilliant to see the co-ordination and teamwork from all the members of staff involved, coming from the NHS, Rainbow Pharmacy and the Open University.
Also, it was wonderful to see the vaccination centre being supported by volunteers from Willen Hospice and the Rotary Club.
Commenting, Iain Stewart MP said:
"I want to put on record my thanks to all those who are involved in the process of getting the public vaccinated against COVID-19, both here in Milton Keynes but also across the country!"
Iain Stewart MP received his first jab of a COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday 17th April.
