On Friday 17th September, Iain Stewart MP visited Middleton Hall at Centre:MK to see the return of the MK Job Show.
With over 80 employers from a range of industries and sectors, it was a great opportunity for local residents to talk to employers in Milton Keynes.
Many of the exhibitors were recruiting on the spot for workers, with some even having interview booths at their stands.
Iain was able to chat to a range of the exhibitors to learn about how their company or organisation has been doing during the pandemic and what positions they are recruiting for at the MK Job Show.
Commenting, Iain Stewart MP said:
"This is the first Job Show for two years, it hasn't happened for obvious reasons over the last 24 months, but this has always been a very successful event, and this year, there are more recruiters and exhibitors than ever before.
"It just shows that the job market in Milton Keynes is very buoyant.
"There have been various studies that have showed that Milton Keynes is going to be one of the top places in the country to bounce back from the pandemic.
"We've got a very positive jobs market."
The MK Job Show is hoping to return again in March 2022. If you would like to find out more information or get in touch with them, you can do so by going to their website - https://www.mkjobshow.co.uk/
