The location of Milton Keynes is excellent for constituents to travel for work, leisure and family purposes, with the option to travel by car, train or bus to nearby cities. This is alongside the grid roads and Redways that run throughout Milton Keynes.
We have made the following progress on this Our Plan point:
- From day one, I have campaigned for the East West Rail which is now under construction and will mean new trains to Winslow, Bicester and Oxford by 2025
- Secured £7.9 million for local roads maintenance in Milton Keynes including fixing potholes appearing across the city
- Engaged with businesses and organisations about installing electric car charging points and supporting the trails of driverless vehicles
